As Creative Director for Spotify's End of Year 2024 Gala in Mexico, I led the conceptualization of a landmark celebration marking eleven years of the platform's presence in the country. The event was designed to be hosted at the iconic Gran Hotel Ciudad de México, leveraging the venue's stunning art nouveau architecture and historic significance to create a perfect blend of classical elegance and modern brand aesthetics.
The experiential journey began with a stunning installation of light-bathed pillars creating a gradient effect, offering guests a dramatic transition as they entered the venue. Inside, a monumental stage constructed from dynamic cubes provided a contemporary backdrop for local DJ performances, while carefully curated floral installations paid tribute to Mexico's most influential music creators through artistic portraits.
This celebration not only honored Spotify's cultural impact in Mexico but also established a new benchmark for music industry events, elevating the platform's position as a global streaming leader while maintaining strong local relevance.
