In Mexico, soccer is the sport that dominates the national culture on and off the field. Despite the enormous importance it has in our daily lives, economy and identity, there was no event focused on the younger audience.
Football needed an event that spoke to millennials and Gen Z in their own language, with a fresh, modern and dynamic concept.
Gola, the first soccer festival in Mexico that speaks out of the boring convention formats by designing a place where attendees can express and live their passion for this sport.
The program of activities included a forum of talks with former soccer players, comedians, sports journalists and celebrities; a cage soccer tournament, X-Box zone, street artists painting live, and concerts by local bands.
Gola managed to connect with a target that sports brands, clubs and event organizers had forgotten, making the love of soccer blossom through its younger fans.
